Slovene caviar exports are set to reach 6,300 kilograms by 2026 - up from 5,010 kilograms in 2021 - at an average growth rate of 3.6% year-on-year. This is a 127.2% increase since 2018, when Slovenia ranked 44th in terms of production, with Uruguay in the lead at 5,010 kilograms. Following Uruguay were China, Kazakhstan and Germany in second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Slovene caviar imports are predicted to reach 229,730 kilograms by 2026, up from 181,750 kilograms in 2021, with a year-on-year growth rate of 3.7%. Since 1999, demand has increased 145.2%. Slovenia ranked 24th in 2021, with Belgium in first place at 181,750 kilograms. Japan, South Korea and the United States followed in second, third and fourth, respectively.
