Serbian demand for caviar is set to rise by 0.9% per year until 2026, when it is projected to reach 1,790 Kilograms. In 2021, Serbia ranked 82nd in the world, with Madagascar ahead on 1,670 Kilograms. Japan, South Korea and the US were the top three importers. In contrast, Serbian caviar exports have plummeted by an astonishing 99.9% since 2017, when it stood at 23,210 Kilograms. In 2018, Bosnia and Herzegovina (27 Kilograms) was the only country to import Serbian caviar, followed by China, Kazakhstan and Germany.
