Cameroonian Computer Hardware Exports to Decline by 2028 Cameroon's computer hardware export industry is projected to experience a gradual decline over the next five years. The export value is expected to drop from $23,700 in 2023 to approximately $22,000 by 2028, marking an average annual decrease of 1.2%. This trend continues a pattern observed since 2000, during which the supply has consistently fallen by 1.4% per year. Imports of Computer Hardware Also on Downward Trend In parallel, the import of computer hardware into Cameroon is also set to decrease. Projections indicate a reduction from $3,337,900 in 2023 to about $3,115,000 by 2028. This represents an average annual decline of 1.1% in the compound annual growth rate (CAGR). The import demand has been similarly affected since 2000, showing a year-on-year decrease of 1.3%. These trends highlight a shrinking market for computer hardware in Cameroon, both in terms of exports and imports, over the coming years.
