Since the turn of the millennium, Romanian demand for music has seen an average annual rise of 4.1%. In 2023, Romania ranked 16th in music expenditure, with the Czech Republic slightly ahead at €10.4 billion. Leading the chart were Germany, France, and Italy, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions respectively. On the revenue front, Romanian music revenue is expected to slightly dip to €45.1 million by 2028 from €45.9 million in 2023, marking an average annual decline of 0.3%. Despite this expected downturn, the Romanian music market has experienced a yearly growth of 2.1% since 2013.
