Egypt's musical instrument industry is set to take a hit in the near future, with exports of the product falling by 4% year-on-year on average to reach $130,700 by 2026. This is a decrease of 6% since 1999. The country was ranked 74th in 2021, with Luxembourg taking the lead with $165,500. Germany, the United States and Japan placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. On the other hand, imports of musical instruments are expected to increase by 1.1% year-on-year on average to $2.15 million by 2026. This is a rise of 1.4% since 1999. Egypt was placed 82nd in 2021, with Malta coming ahead with $2.01 million. Germany, China and Japan took the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots in this ranking.
