Jordan's health expenditure is set to increase over the next five years, according to figures from the World Health Organization. In 2021, Jordanian demand is estimated to have reached $814 per capita in purchasing power parity. This figure is projected to rise by 0.7% per year, to reach around $852 by 2026. Since 2005, Jordanian demand for health services has risen by 3.8% annually. In 2021, the country ranked 91st out of 192 countries in terms of health expenditure. Equatorial Guinea came first, with $814 per capita. Switzerland, Norway and Germany came in second, third and fourth respectively.
