The Slovak hip replacement procedure is set to reach 7,500 surgical procedures by 2026. That’s an increase of 0.7% each year on average, despite a 0.3% decrease year on year since 2014. In 2021, Slovakia ranked 23rd in the world for the number of hip replacement surgical procedures. New Zealand was ahead with 7,200. France, the UK and Italy were the 2nd, 3rd and 4th highest respectively.
