Egyptian electrical equipment exports are predicted to reach around $2.1 billion by 2026, a 2.6% increase on 2021's figure of $1.8 billion. This is a rise of 3.6% year on year since 1999. South Africa took the top spot in 2021 with exports of $1.8 billion, followed by South Korea, the United States and Germany. Imports of electrical equipment into Egypt are forecast to reach $8.5 billion by 2026, an increase of 3% year on year since 2021's figure of $7.1 billion. This is a rise of 11.9% year on year since 1999. Chile took the top spot in 2021 with imports of $7.1 billion, followed by the United States, Germany and Singapore.
