Despite this recent dip, the overall demand for electrical equipment in Mali has experienced steady growth, averaging a 3.8% increase annually since 2001. On the export front, Mali showed a robust performance in 2017. The country exported electrical equipment worth nearly $6 million, up significantly from around $4.5 million in 2016. This represents a 32.1% increase over the previous year. Since 2001, Mali's supply of electrical equipment for export has grown at an average rate of 3.2% annually.
