Despite the drop in volume, Estonian freight revenue is expected to rise modestly. Revenue is forecasted to reach about €1,610 million by 2028, up from €1,480 million in 2023. This marks an average annual growth rate of 1.4% since 2013, when the market experienced a similar yearly increase. In 2023, Estonia ranked 27th in terms of freight revenue, with Latvia overtaking it at €1,480 million. Leading the rankings were France, Poland, and Germany, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions respectively.
