Uruguay's imports of printing inks are projected to dip 1.6% year-on-year to total around $2.44 million in 2026. This figure is down from $2.65 million in 2021, and marks a 2.4% decline since 1999. Uruguay ranked 96th in 2021, trailing behind Azerbaijan with $2.65 million. France, the United States and the Netherlands were the second, third and fourth-largest importers respectively. Exports of printing inks from Uruguay have dropped drastically in recent years, falling 99.8% between 2017 and 2018. This brought exports to a total of just $87 in 2018, compared to $40,530 in 2017. Since 1999, Uruguayan supplies have decreased by 67.1% year-on-year. The country ranked 109th in 2018, behind the Bahamas, with $87. The Netherlands, the United States and Japan were the second, third and fourth-largest exporters respectively.
