On the import side, Ukraine's demand for plastic is on the rise. By 2028, plastic imports are forecasted to hit nearly $2.9 billion, up from about $2.8 billion in 2023. This represents a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 0.8%. Since 2001, the demand for plastic imports in Ukraine has shown a gradual increase, growing at an average rate of 0.4% per year.
