United States, Germany and France respectively ranked numbers 1, 2 and 3 in this ranking. Qatar's plastic import is set to surge to $998 million by 2026. Last year, the country imported $836 million worth of plastic, a 2.7% average increase from 2005. It was ranked 71, with Myanmar topping the list at $836 million. The US, Germany, and France were second, third, and fourth respectively. Exports of plastic from Qatar saw an astonishing 2,150% jump in 2018, reaching $45 million. This was up from $2 million the year before, but still 90.1% lower than 2005. The US, Germany, and France were the top three importers.
