This growth continues a trend seen since 1994, with Brazilian supply increasing by an average of 5.5% each year. In 2023, Brazil ranked 10th among gas turbine exporters, with China leading the rankings at $4.52 billion. Following China, France, Singapore, and Germany occupied the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. On the import side, Brazil's gas turbine imports totaled around $447 million in 2023, a significant decrease from approximately $535 million in 2022, representing a drop of 16.5%. This decline is part of a longer-term trend, with Brazilian demand for gas turbines having decreased by an average of 7.4% annually since 1994.
