This 16.6% drop highlights a continuing downward trend for the nation, which has seen its supply decrease by an average of 7.5% annually since 2000. In the global rankings for 2023, Moldova stood at number 74, just behind Aruba, which also reported $326,000 in gas turbine exports. Leading the list were France, Singapore, and Germany, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively. Meanwhile, Moldova's gas turbine imports have also seen a dramatic fall. In 2018, the country imported around $210,000 worth of gas turbines, a steep 52.1% drop from the $438,000 imported in 2017. Since 2000, Moldova's demand for gas turbines has decreased by an average of 20.7% per year.
