This significant drop continues a downward trend in Iranian gas turbine supply, which has fallen by 57.5% annually since 2004. Conversely, Iran's gas turbine imports surged in 2017, reaching around $274 million. This represents a significant increase of 169% compared to the $102 million recorded in 2016. Despite this sharp rise, the overall demand for gas turbines in Iran has seen a yearly decrease of 7.6% since 2002.
