China is set to be one of the largest exporters of propane by 2026, rising 1.9% year on year on average. This comes despite a 0.3% decline in Chinese supply since 1998. In 2021, Nigeria overtook China as the leading exporter of propane, at 543,330,000 Kilograms, followed by Canada, Algeria and Russia. China is also set to be one of the largest importers of propane by 2026, growing 3.9% year on year CAGR. This is an increase from the 6.6% year on year growth since 1997. The United States, Japan and Mexico are the top three importers of propane, respectively.
