Dominican imports of propane are predicted to hit 1.2 billion kilograms by 2026, a 3.5% year-on-year average rate of growth, according to recent figures. This is a 15.7% rise since 2011. Germany topped the list in 2021 with 960.8 million kilograms, followed by the United States, Japan and Mexico. Meanwhile, exports of propane from the Dominican Republic are expected to reach 1.1 million kilograms by 2026, a 5.8% year-on-year average rate of decline. This represents a 23.4% drop since 2001. Slovenia was the leader in 2021, with 1.6 million kilograms, followed by Canada, Algeria and Russia.
