Germany's propane imports are expected to reach nearly one billion kilograms by 2026, up 0.7% from 2021. Since 1996, Germany's demand for propane has increased by 0.7% annually. In 2021, Thailand was the top importer at 925 million kilograms, followed by the United States, Japan and Mexico. Germany's propane exports, however, are projected to decline by 2.3% per year between 2021 and 2026, down from 78.9 million kilograms in 2021. Since 1996, German supply has decreased by 6.4% each year. In 2021, Tunisia was the largest exporter of propane at 78.9 million kilograms, followed by Canada, Algeria and Russia.
