Greek propane exports fell by a dramatic 68% in 2021 compared to 2020, dropping from 270,500 kilograms to just 86,860 kilograms. This marks a 52.8% decrease since 1993. Indonesia overtook Greece in the rankings to become the 57th largest exporter, while Canada, Algeria and Russia were numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Meanwhile, Greek propane imports are expected to reach 41.5 million kilograms by 2026, up from 36.2 million kilograms in 2021. This marks an average growth of 2.1% year-on-year since 1993, when imports rose by 3.3%. Albania became the 50th largest importer in 2021, while the US, Japan and Mexico ranked 2, 3 and 4.
