Croatia is set to import 12.2 million kilograms of propane by 2026, growing at an average rate of 1.7% year-on-year. Since 1997, the country has seen a 7.4% drop in demand. In 2021, Croatia ranked 69th in the world, overtaken by Uruguay which imported 10.9 million kilograms. The United States, Japan and Mexico followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Meanwhile, Croatian propane export has dropped to 1.8 million kilograms in 2021, a 24.5% decrease from 2020's 2.4 million kilograms. Since 1997, the country has experienced a 25.7% reduction in supply. In 2021, Croatia ranked 50th, with Oman ahead at 1.8 million kilograms. Canada, Algeria and Russia followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
