Russia is set to become one of the world's top propane exporters by 2026. The country is projected to export 4.8 billion kilograms of propane, a 3.1% year on year increase from 2021. Since 2001, the country's supply of propane has risen 5.1% annually. In 2021, Russia ranked fourth in the world for propane exports, behind Algeria, Canada and the United States. Russia has also been steadily increasing its demand for propane. From 2001 to 2018, the country's demand increased 72.2% year on year, and in 2018, it ranked 87th in the world, with Fiji coming in ahead at 833,000 kilograms. The United States, Japan and Mexico followed Russia in the rankings.
