Icelander demand for compressor is projected to decrease in the coming years. Compressor imports are expected to drop to 48,900 Kilograms by 2026, decreasing by an average of 2.9% annually from 2021. Icelander demand for compressors has been declining since 1993. Last year, the nation imported 58,030 Kilograms, a drop of 18.4% from the previous year. Azerbaijan moved ahead of Iceland in the compressor import rankings, with 672 Kilograms. Thailand, South Korea and Slovakia were the next three biggest importers. Icelander export figures for compressors have also dropped since 2002, with 672 Kilograms exported in 2018, a rise of 22.4% on the previous year. Looking ahead, Iceland's compressor demand is set to continue decreasing in the coming years. By 2026, imports are predicted to fall to 48,900 Kilograms, a decrease of 2.9% per year on average from 2021.
