Sweden's compressor import is expected to fall by 4.1% year-on-year CAGR to reach 3.2 million kilograms in 2026. This follows a downward trend in the country since 1997, with a 2.9% decrease in imports year-on-year. Meanwhile, exports are set to dip by 4% year-on-year average rate to reach 321,530 kilograms in 2026. This is a 6.8% reduction since 1997. Sweden was ranked 36th in the world for compressor exports in 2021, coming second to South Africa, which exported 407,130 kilograms. Thailand, South Korea and Slovakia were ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
