Chilean nickel exports dropped by 30.4% in 2021 compared to the previous year, totalling $63 million. This is a 7.9% decrease since 1995. Chilean nickel imports are projected to reach $3.3 billion by 2026, a 1.8% average year-on-year decrease from the 2021 figure of $3.6 billion. Since 1995, demand has increased 5.1% year on year. Chile ranked at 62nd place in 2021, with New Zealand ahead at $3.6 billion. The US, Japan and Norway came in second, third and fourth respectively.
