Ecuador's vanadium imports dropped sharply in 2018. The country imported 2.4 kilograms of the metal, a decrease of 40% from the year before. This marked an even steeper decline since 2013 - a 43% drop. Sri Lanka passed Ecuador to take 57th place in the rankings. South Korea, the United States and India held the top three spots, respectively.
