French imports of vanadium are expected to decline by 0.9% year on year CAGR from 2021 to 2026. In 2021, France imported 478,780 kilos of vanadium, placing it seventh in the world ranking. Japan was the top importer, followed by South Korea, the United States and India. Meanwhile, French vanadium exports are on the rise. In 2018, they reached 1,670 kilos, a 52.4% increase from 2017. Poland was the top exporter, followed by Russia, China and South Africa. However, since 1999, French vanadium exports have decreased by 39.5% year on year.
