Belgian vanadium exports are projected to drop 2.1% year-on-year on average to reach 19,180 kilograms by 2026. Since 2004, Belgian supply has grown 1.4% annually. The Czech Republic overtook Belgium in 2021, coming in at 21,720 kilograms. Russia, China and South Africa took spots two, three and four in the ranking. Belgian vanadium imports, meanwhile, are forecast to fall 23.3% year-on-year on average to 28,040 kilograms by 2026. Since 2004, Belgian demand has increased 16.3% each year. Italy took the lead in 2021, reporting 120,580 kilograms. South Korea, the United States and India followed at numbers two, three and four, respectively.
