Latvia’s gas turbine imports and exports are both set to rise over the next five years. In 2021, Latvia was ranked 35th in the world for imports, with Romania taking the lead at $507 million. The UK, France and Singapore followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Exports are projected to reach $546 million by 2026, up from $401 million in 2021 – an average annual growth rate of 5.2%. This is an increase of 171.6% since 1999. In 2021, Latvia ranked 27th in the world for exports, with Norway again taking the lead at $401 million. France, Singapore and Germany followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
