Lao iron ore exports are set to reach nearly $18 million by 2026. In 2021, the country was 25th in the world rankings, with exports of $16 million. Finland was ahead of Lao at $16 million. Other top countries in the rankings were Brazil, Canada and South Africa. Since 2015, exports from Lao have grown by an average of 2.2% each year. Over this period, the country saw an increase of almost 8%.
