Other countries in the ranking were Madagascar, Brazil, Indonesia and Poland, respectively coming in numbers 2, 3 and 4. Ghanaian exports of doors plummeted in 2018. At 449 kg, it was a drop of 89.7% compared to the 4,340 kg exported in 2017. Since 2001, exports have fallen by 55%. Madagascar overtook Ghana as the top exporter of doors in 2018, with Brazil, Indonesia and Poland coming in second, third and fourth, respectively. On the import side, Ghana's demand for doors dropped 17.7% in 2018 to nearly 2.3 million kg, from 2.7 million kg in 2017. Since 2001, imports have declined 6.7%. Madagascar, Brazil, Indonesia and Poland followed Ghana in the ranking of top importers.
