This annual rate of decrease is 0.4%, which has been the same since 1997. Countries just ahead of Slovenia in this ranking were Trinidad and Tobago with 411,000 heads. The top three countries for livestock production were Brazil, India and the United States. Slovenian livestock imports are expected to grow over the next five years, with an average rate of 1.8%. Since 1999, demand has increased by 6.2% year on year. In 2021, the country was 53rd in the ranking, with Lithuania slightly ahead at $38.5 million. Germany, Italy and the Netherlands were the top three countries for livestock imports.
