Polish environmental protection expenditure is on the rise. In 2021, it reached €10.6 billion, up from €9.7 billion in 2015. This 1.4% year-on-year growth is set to continue, with projections of €10.6 billion by 2026. Poland is currently ranked 11th for environmental protection expenditure, but Sweden is close on its heels at €9.7 billion. France, the United Kingdom and Italy rank second, third and fourth respectively.
