Egypt's export of polyvinyl acetate dropped 6.4% in 2021 to 61,220 kilograms, down from 65,380 kilograms in 2020. Since 2007, exports have declined by an average of 1.4% each year. Colombia topped the ranking with 61,220 kilograms, followed by Switzerland, Germany and Saudi Arabia. Egypt's import of polyvinyl acetate is expected to fall to 995,410 kilograms by 2026, down from 1,191,100 kilograms in 2021. Since 1999, imports have dropped 9.1% annually on average. Algeria was the leading supplier in 2021, with Italy, the United States and France following.
