Beninese imports of polyvinyl acetate are forecast to drop dramatically over the next five years, plummeting 27.1% annually to reach 2,020 kilograms by 2026. Since 2003, Benin's demand for the material has declined by 30.9% a year. The country ranked 119th globally in 2021, with imports of 11,100 kilograms - just behind Saint Lucia. Italy, the United States and France took the top three spots in the rankings.
