Slovakia's imports of polyvinyl acetate is set to grow by 1.8% year on year, reaching 2.7 million kilograms by 2026. This figure has increased steadily since 1999. In 2021, Slovakia was the 40th largest importer of the product, Croatia was ahead with 2.4 million kilograms. Italy, the United States and France were the next three largest importers in the ranking. Slovakia's exports of polyvinyl acetate totalled 17,330 kilograms in 2018, up 40.3% from the previous year. This figure has grown steadily since 1999, with an increase of 31.6% year on year. Slovakia was the 55th largest exporter in 2018, with Uruguay overtaking with 17,330 kilograms. Switzerland, Germany and Saudi Arabia were the next three largest exporters in the ranking.
