Germany imports and exports of tungsten are predicted to reach $337.3 million in 2026, with a compound annual growth rate of 0.6%. In 2021, Germany imported $162.6 million worth of tungsten, an increase of 0.3% from the previous year. The US came in first with $165.6 million, while Japan and Austria were third and fourth with $45.2 million and $13.6 million respectively. Exports of tungsten from Germany also rose in 2021, reaching $153.2 million. China took the lead with $171.7 million, followed by the US, Japan and Austria at $32.2 million, $11.8 million and $7.2 million respectively. Since 1996, Germany's tungsten imports and exports have grown at an average yearly rate of 6.9% and 7.2% respectively. The cumulative total is expected to reach $337.3 million by 2026.
