Burmese tungsten exports are set to reach $13 billion by 2026, with an annual growth rate of 1.6%, according to a recent report. The country saw a 48% increase in exports since 2017 and was the 62nd biggest exporter in 2021, coming in just behind Saudi Arabia at $12 billion. Germany, the United States and Japan followed as the second, third and fourth biggest exporters respectively. Burmese tungsten imports, on the other hand, dropped 45% to $3.9 billion in 2018 from $7.1 billion in 2017. Since 2015, imports have decreased by 54%. The country ranked 110th in 2018, with Moldova overtaking them with a value of $3.9 billion. Germany, Japan and Austria came in as the second, third and fourth biggest importers respectively.
