Maltese non-ferrous metal exports decreased by 51% in 2021 compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 220 metric tons. This is a 41.5% decrease since 2005. Cyprus came in first with 220 metric tons, while Spain, the Netherlands and France came in second, third and fourth respectively. Maltese non-ferrous metal imports are set to reach 5,590 metric tons by 2026, with a 1.9% decrease year on year. This is a 1.6% decrease since 2005. Albania came in first with 6,540 metric tons, while Spain, France and Norway came in second, third and fourth respectively.
