In 2023, Bosnia ranked 26th globally, while Hungary led with the same amount of 409,000 metric tons. Spain, France, and the Netherlands held the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. On the import front, Bosnia’s non-ferrous metal intake is expected to soar to roughly 788,000 metric tons by 2028, a significant rise from the 538,000 metric tons recorded in 2023. This marks an annual growth rate of 6%. Since 2019, the country's demand has increased by 7.7% per year. Bosnia ranked 24th in 2023, with Hungary again ahead at 538,000 metric tons. Spain, France, and Norway were the second, third, and fourth largest importers, respectively.
