Spain, France, and the Netherlands followed as the second, third, and fourth largest exporters, respectively. On the import front, Serbia's non-ferrous metal imports are expected to climb to nearly 570,000 metric tons by 2028, up from approximately 480,000 metric tons in 2023. This marks an average annual growth rate of 2.7%. Since 2006, the country's demand has grown by 7.5% each year. In the 2023 ranking, Serbia stood at the 25th position, with Bosnia and Herzegovina surpassing it at around 480,000 metric tons. Spain, France, and Norway occupied the second, third, and fourth spots in this ranking, respectively.
