German diamond exports are expected to reach around $109 million by 2026, up slightly from $108 million in 2021. Since 1996, the country has seen a 2% year-on-year decrease in supply. In 2021, Germany ranked 21st, behind Italy, which stood at $108 million. The US, Belgium and Israel took the top three spots in this ranking. Meanwhile, German diamond imports are projected to reach $298 million in 2026, up 0.6% from $287 million in 2021. Since 1996, German demand has grown 4.3% year on year. Last year, Canada led the rankings at $287 million, followed by the US, Belgium and the United Arab Emirates.
