Ethiopia's granite import dropped by more than half in 2015. That year, the country imported 353,570 kilograms - a far cry from the 745,480 kilograms imported the year prior. This placed Ethiopia at number 51 in the ranking of global granite importers, overtaken by Iran. The United Kingdom, Russia and Denmark, meanwhile, were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
