Brazil's export of granite is projected to decrease by 27.2% year on year over the next five years, according to a report by the Brazilian Ministry of Commerce. This would see the amount fall from 28.2 million kilograms in 2021 to just over 5 million kilograms in 2026. Since 1994, Brazilian supply has dropped by 15.4% year on year, while demand has increased by 19.3%. In 2018, Brazil ranked 101st in granite exports, with Ivory Coast ahead at 263 kilograms. The United Kingdom, Russia and Denmark were the second, third and fourth-highest exporters, respectively.
