In 2015, Ecuador imported 348,900 kilograms of granite, a decrease of 50.5 percent compared to 2014. That year, Bulgaria overtook Ecuador as the top importer of the stone, at 698,790 kilograms. In 2015, the United Kingdom, Russia and Denmark were the second, third and fourth-largest importers of granite, respectively.
