Korean granite imports are set to increase to 15.2 million kilograms by 2026, according to figures from 2021. That’s a 1.9% year-on-year growth rate from the 13.3 million kilograms imported in 2021. This figure is a 24.7% increase from the 1993 figure. Bosnia and Herzegovina took the lead in 2021 with 13.3 million kilograms, followed by the United Kingdom, Russia and Denmark in second, third and fourth place respectively. Korean granite exports decreased by 39% year-on-year in 2017, dropping from 30.9 thousand kilograms to 18.8 thousand kilograms. This is a 185.1% increase from the 1993 figure. Sri Lanka led the way in 2021 with 30.9 thousand kilograms, followed by Saudi Arabia, Belarus and Turkey in second, third and fourth place respectively.
