Ireland has seen a decline in demand of 30.3% since 1997. The country was placed 60th on the list in 2018, with Latvia ahead at 130,000 Kilograms. The United Kingdom, Russia and Denmark respectively came 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the rankings. Irish imports of granite skyrocketed by 314.9% in 2018, jumping from 39,400 Kilograms to 163,480 Kilograms. This was despite a 7.3% year-on-year decrease since 1997. Latvia topped the rankings at 163,480 Kilograms, with the UK, Russia and Denmark coming in 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Meanwhile, exports of Irish granite dropped by 30.3% between 2014 and 2015, from 185,000 Kilograms to 130,000 Kilograms. Ireland was placed 60th in 2018, with Latvia leading the way at 130,000 Kilograms. The UK, Russia and Denmark were the next three countries in the rankings.
