Greek granite exports plummeted by 41.3% in 2019, dropping from 57,200 kilograms to 33,600 kilograms. This marks a 73.5% decrease from 1997. Greece also saw a significant decline in granite imports, with the amount of imported granite dropping from 635,810 kilograms in 2018 to 200,030 kilograms in 2019. This marks a 7.7% decrease since 1993. The country has fallen to 58th in the world for granite imports, with Moldova overtaking them at 200,030 kilograms. The United Kingdom, Russia and Denmark respectively occupy the number 2, 3, and 4 spots in the ranking.
