Russia is set to see an increase in granite imports over the coming years. The country is projected to reach 1.09 billion kg of granite imports by 2026, up 4.7% annually from 2021's 812 million kg. This growth has been marked since 2001, with a 50.2% increase in demand. In 2021, the UK was the top importer of granite, followed by Russia in third and Denmark in fourth. Meanwhile, Russian granite exports are estimated to decrease slightly to 1.08 billion kg by 2026, down 0.5% each year from 2021's 1.09 billion kg. Since 2001, the country's supply has decreased by 7.5%.
