Latvian granite imports soared by 508 percent in 2018, reaching a total of 164,110 kilograms - up from 27,000 kilograms in 2017. Since 2000, Latvian demand for granite has dropped by two-thirds. In 2018, Latvia was ranked 59th in terms of granite imports, with Andorra at the top with 164,110 kilograms. The United Kingdom, Russia and Denmark followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
